Shipping & Delivery Policy

Last updated: 9 September 2026

At GOOD/DAY, we aim to make receiving everyday essentials straightforward and convenient. This policy explains how we process orders, arrange delivery, and handle delays or delivery problems. Please read it alongside our Terms of Service and Refunds & Returns Policy.

1. Where we deliver

GOOD/DAY intends to offer delivery within the United Kingdom, subject to the delivery areas and services available at checkout. Our initial local-delivery service will focus on Sunderland and surrounding areas.

We may offer different delivery methods for household essentials, refill products, and GOOD+ merchandise. Some products may be dispatched by third-party fulfilment or print-on-demand partners.

We will only accept an order for delivery where a suitable delivery service is available. Any geographical restrictions will be made clear before purchase.

2. Delivery options and charges

The delivery options available for your order, together with their charges and estimated delivery times, will be displayed at checkout before you place your order.

Delivery charges may vary according to the delivery address, parcel size or weight, product type, and selected service. Any applicable minimum order value, free-delivery threshold, or promotional delivery offer will be clearly stated before purchase.

We will not add an undisclosed mandatory delivery charge after an order has been placed.

3. Order processing

Orders are processed after they have been accepted and payment has been authorised. Processing times may vary depending on product availability and the fulfilment method.

Where applicable, the product page or checkout will distinguish between:

  • In-stock products: goods available for normal fulfilment.

  • Made-to-order or print-on-demand products: goods produced after an order is placed.

  • Pre-order products: goods offered before their anticipated availability date.

  • Local delivery products: goods eligible for GOOD/DAY's local delivery service, where available.

Any estimated dispatch or delivery period will be communicated before purchase. An order acknowledgement does not necessarily mean that an order has been accepted; contract formation is explained in our Terms of Service.

4. Local Sunderland delivery

GOOD/DAY plans to introduce a local delivery service for eligible household essentials and refill products. When available, customers will be able to select from the delivery options offered at checkout.

Local delivery may operate through scheduled delivery windows or route-based delivery arrangements. The applicable area, available days, delivery window, charges, and any order cutoff will be stated before the order is placed.

We do not currently guarantee same-day delivery, a particular delivery frequency, or an exact arrival time unless that service is expressly offered and accepted for your order.

If a local delivery service is not yet available for your address, the checkout will show any alternative delivery options that we can provide.

5. GOOD+ merchandise and separate fulfilment

GOOD+ clothing, accessories, and other merchandise may be fulfilled separately from household-essentials orders. Some items may be manufactured or printed after purchase.

As a result, an order containing multiple product types may arrive in more than one parcel and on different dates. Where we know this before purchase, we will explain the relevant delivery arrangements.

We will not charge additional delivery fees for separate fulfilment unless those charges were disclosed and agreed before purchase.

6. Pre-orders

Pre-order products will be clearly identified before purchase, together with the anticipated dispatch or delivery period.

If a pre-order is delayed, we will provide an update and explain your available options. Where delivery cannot take place within an agreed period, your rights under applicable consumer law remain unaffected.

A pre-order does not remove your statutory cancellation or refund rights.

7. Delivery times and delays

We will deliver goods without undue delay and within the delivery period agreed with you. Unless a different period has been agreed, goods must generally be delivered within 30 days after the contract is made.

If we become aware of a material delay, we will contact you using the details provided with your order and explain the revised arrangements.

If delivery is late, you may have the right to cancel and receive a refund in accordance with applicable consumer law. Where a delivery date is essential, please tell us before placing your order so that we can confirm whether we are able to meet it.

8. Delivery addresses and access

Please ensure that your delivery address and contact information are accurate and complete.

If you notice an error after placing an order, contact us as soon as possible at [customer service email]. We will make reasonable efforts to amend the delivery details before dispatch, but changes may not be possible once fulfilment has begun.

For local delivery, please provide any reasonable access information needed to complete the delivery safely. We will not require you to disclose unnecessary personal information.

If delivery cannot be completed because of incorrect information or an access issue, we will contact you where practicable to arrange the next steps. Any additional charge will be explained before it is incurred and will only be applied where lawful.

9. Missed deliveries and delivery instructions

If a delivery attempt is unsuccessful, the courier or delivery provider may leave a notification or provide instructions for redelivery or collection.

Where we offer delivery to a nominated safe place or another person, we will explain the available options and any relevant conditions. We will not treat a parcel as delivered merely because it has been dispatched.

If you believe an order has been marked as delivered but has not been received, please contact us so that we can investigate.

10. Risk of loss or damage

For consumer purchases, responsibility for goods generally passes to you when you, or a person you have identified to receive them, takes physical possession of the goods.

Where you independently arrange a carrier that was not offered by GOOD/DAY, different statutory rules may apply.

If goods are lost or damaged before responsibility has passed to you, please contact us. We will provide the appropriate remedy in accordance with applicable law.

11. Damaged, missing, or incorrect items

If your order arrives damaged, incomplete, or incorrect, please contact [customer service email] with your order number and a description of the issue.

Photographs may help us investigate, but they are not a condition of your statutory rights. We will arrange an appropriate remedy, which may include replacement, repair, or refund, depending on the circumstances.

Please retain any relevant packaging where reasonably possible, particularly if it may assist with a courier claim or product-safety investigation.

12. Returns and cancellations

Information about change-of-mind cancellations, faulty goods, return costs, and refund times is available in our Refunds & Returns Policy.

Nothing in this Shipping & Delivery Policy limits your statutory consumer rights.

13. International delivery

International delivery is not guaranteed. If we introduce delivery outside the United Kingdom, the available destinations, shipping charges, estimated delivery periods, and any applicable customs or import arrangements will be explained before purchase.

We will not accept an international order unless an appropriate delivery arrangement is available.
